Requires group and individual health insurance plans, including managed care plans, amended, delivered, issued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2027 to provide coverage for medically prescribed seizure detection devices.

Mandates that covered seizure detection devices must be approved for use by individuals, with device selection based on the individual's circumstances and medical needs in consultation with their medical provider.

Prohibits insurers from requiring prior authorization or imposing cost-sharing requirements for seizure detection devices.

Extends coverage requirements to state employees, county and municipal self-insured plans, school districts, health maintenance organizations, limited health service organizations, voluntary health services plans, and Medicaid.

Introduced January 13, 2026 by Senator Julie A. Morrison and Senator Terri Bryant; takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
