Requires 9-8-8 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline contact information to be posted in prominent, visible locations at public libraries, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, child care centers, county detention homes, and correctional facilities across Illinois.

Mandates public schools serving grades 6-12 to assess existing courses and implement age-appropriate, evidence-based suicide prevention curricula where integration opportunities exist within their comprehensive health education programs.

Requires inmate release planning under the Unified Code of Corrections to include access to suicide prevention resources as part of successful community transition.

Amends 11 separate Illinois statutes including the School Code, Nursing Home Care Act, Child Care Act of 1969, Probation and Probation Officers Act, and various library acts.

State Mandates Act may require reimbursement to local governments for compliance costs.
