IL SB2833

Amends the Illinois Property Tax Code to extend deadlines for applications for judgment and order of sale by an additional 90 days when second installment tax bills are not mailed by the statutory deadlines.

Provides property owners more time to address delinquent taxes before their properties can be subject to tax sale proceedings when billing delays occur.

Applies statewide to all Illinois counties, modifying Section 21-150 of the Property Tax Code (35 ILCS 200/21-150).
