Amends the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act to require dispensing organizations to include information about locked storage bags for preventing child access in their purchaser education policies

Mandates dispensaries selling edible cannabis-infused products to display a placard stating "Cannabis products should be kept away from children and safely stored in a locked storage container"

Requires dispensaries offering cannabis-infused products to stock lockable, opaque storage containers designed to prevent child access for sale to customers

Adds new labeling requirements for cannabis-infused products warning that products must be stored out of reach of children, should be in a locked container, and providing the Illinois Poison Center phone number for accidental ingestion

Introduced January 16, 2026 by Senator Michael E. Hastings, amending sections 15-65 and 55-21 and adding section 55-16 to the Act
