Amends the Assisted Living and Shared Housing Act to allow physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) to complete comprehensive assessments for residents, expanding authority beyond physicians only

Comprehensive assessments evaluate prospective residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial condition prior to admission and must be completed annually or upon significant condition changes

For Alzheimer's and dementia programs, assessments must now be approved by a physician, physician assistant, or APRN prior to residency acceptance, annually, and when condition changes are identified

Family members, facility staff, physicians, physician assistants, or APRNs can trigger reassessments when they identify changes in a resident's condition
