Requires health insurance plans to cover eye medications prescribed under the Topical Eye Medication Prescription Act

Applies to state employee group insurance, county government self-insured plans, municipal self-insured plans, school district health coverage, HMOs, limited health service organizations, and voluntary health services plans

Amends 8 Illinois statutes including the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971, Counties Code, Illinois Municipal Code, School Code, and Illinois Public Aid Code

Coverage mandate extends to Medicaid recipients through amendments to the Illinois Public Aid Code
