Requires group and individual health insurance policies and managed care plans amended, issued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2028 to cover medically necessary epinephrine delivery systems

Expands the definition of "epinephrine injector" to include FDA-approved auto-injectors and pre-filled syringes with pre-measured doses equivalent to auto-injector dosages

Caps out-of-pocket costs for a twin-pack of epinephrine injectors or delivery systems at no more than $60, regardless of device type

Exempts high-deductible health plans from the cost cap requirement if compliance would disqualify the plan from health savings account eligibility under federal tax law

Amends Section 356z.33 of the Illinois Insurance Code, building on existing epinephrine injector coverage requirements for persons 18 and under
