IL SB3022

Amends the Illinois Gambling Act to redirect 0.50% of adjusted gross receipts from the Waukegan riverboat/casino to gun violence prevention programs in Lake County.

At least 0.40% of the redirected funds must go directly to the Lake County State's Attorney's Gun Violence Prevention Initiative.

The remaining portion (up to 0.10%) would support community violence intervention partners in Lake County.

Funds would be remitted monthly from tax revenue already deposited in the State Gaming Fund.
