Instruction must address the Latine experience, Latin American history, contributions in government, arts, humanities, and sciences, and the effects of colonialism

Regional superintendents must monitor compliance during annual visits, with first-time violations resulting in written warnings and continued non-compliance subject to disciplinary action

State Superintendent of Education must prepare and distribute instructional materials and professional development resources to school boards for developing Latine studies units
