Prohibits organizing, sponsoring, promoting, conducting, or participating in contests, competitions, tournaments, or derbies that award cash, prizes, or other inducements for killing fur-bearing mammals in Illinois.

Exempts field trials permitted by the Department, wildlife damage control activities conducted under Department permits, and lawful hunting or trapping activities, provided these do not occur during a competitive event.

Violations constitute a Class A misdemeanor with fines ranging from $500 to $5,000 in addition to other statutory penalties.

Amends the Illinois Wildlife Code (520 ILCS 5) by adding Section 2.40 and modifying Section 3.5 regarding penalties.
