Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act to allow concealed carry license holders to carry firearms in rest areas and buildings under the control of the Illinois Department of Transportation

Removes the prohibition on carrying concealed firearms on buses, trains, and other public transportation paid for with public funds, including associated buildings and parking areas

Eliminates the ban on carrying concealed firearms in public parks, athletic areas, and athletic facilities controlled by municipalities or park districts
