IL SB3124

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to create a new penalty tier for aggravated DUI involving a motor vehicle, snowmobile, all-terrain vehicle, or watercraft accident that causes one death plus great bodily harm or permanent disability/disfigurement to one or more other persons.

Establishes this specific offense as a Class 2 felony punishable by imprisonment of not less than 4 years and not more than 20 years.

Applies to violations involving alcohol, drugs, intoxicating compounds, or any combination thereof.

May be referred to as "Lindsey's Law."
