Prohibits the distribution, sale, offering for sale, and use of herbicide products containing paraquat dichloride or any other chemical form of paraquat in Illinois beginning January 1, 2027

Allows limited exceptions for research purposes when conducted under strict safety and reporting protocols established by the Department of Agriculture in consultation with the Department of Natural Resources and Department of Public Health

Requires all persons who use, distribute, or sell paraquat to submit detailed reports to the Department of Agriculture by January 1, 2027, including quantities, geographic areas of use, and crop/application types

Violations of reporting requirements are subject to penalties under existing provisions of the Illinois Pesticide Act (Section 24)

Directs the Department of Agriculture to adopt rules necessary to implement the ban, including establishing fines and penalties
