IL SB3307

Requires the Illinois Department of Transportation, in collaboration with the Department of Central Management Services and Capital Development Board, to develop sustainability standards for state purchases of appliances, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other building materials.

Standards development is subject to appropriation or the award of grant funding.

Mandates consideration of a maximum acceptable Global Warming Potential standard when evaluating bids for state-funded infrastructure projects.

Requires consideration of ways to promote life cycle assessments and environmental product declarations in the bidding process.

Amends the Department of Transportation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois by adding Section 2705-635.
