IL SB3352

Amends the Department of Veterans Affairs Act to expand eligibility for service officers and supervisors in the field division to include currently serving reservists or National Guard members in good standing, in addition to honorably discharged veterans

Removes the requirement that service officers and supervisors must have served during a "time of hostilities with a foreign country"

Eliminates previous conditions requiring at least 6 months of service, service for the duration of hostilities, discharge based on hardship, or release due to service-connected disability

Applies to all service officers, supervisors, and field managers within the Department of Veterans Affairs field division
