IL SB3433

Amends the Ginseng Harvesting Act to authorize seizure and forfeiture of any device, equipment, vehicle, or conveyance used or attempted to be used in violation of the Act, with court adjudication procedures and sale proceeds deposited into the Wildlife and Fish Fund

Requires harvest license holders ($7 fee), grower's license holders ($25 fee), and dealer's license holders ($50-$100 fee) to immediately produce their license upon request by Department of Natural Resources employees or law enforcement officers

Expands prohibitions to include attempted violations for harvesting wild ginseng without a license and trespassing to harvest ginseng

Removes the previous 5-year cap on license suspensions, allowing the Department to suspend violators for periods determined by administrative rules

Adds the Ginseng Harvesting Act to the Seizure and Forfeiture Reporting Act's list of applicable laws requiring reporting of seized and forfeited property
