Beginning January 1, 2028, hospitals and pediatric health care facilities may use TeleSANE interactive telecommunications systems allowing qualified medical providers to remotely supervise sexual assault forensic examinations via two-way audio/video communication.

Victims cannot be excluded from any part of a criminal trial unless a written motion to exclude was filed at least 60 days before the trial date.

Law enforcement records identifying non-requesting victims must be redacted when victims or their attorneys request inspection of juvenile records in cases involving multiple minor victims or multiple sex offense victims.

The Address Confidentiality Program expands eligibility to include household members of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, or stalking victims, even if those household members are not themselves victims.

Program participants may renew their address confidentiality certification for additional 4-year periods, and the Attorney General gains discretion to continue participation for those who have a legal name change.
