Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, beginning January 1, 2027, to recompute STAR ratings for nursing facilities that had their antipsychotic medication quality measure score suppressed and STAR rating set to one due to federal CMS audit action

Quality payments to affected nursing facilities must be based on the recomputed STAR rating scores rather than the suppressed ratings

Nursing facilities may submit documentation to the Department regarding the suppression status of their scores and STAR ratings to facilitate the recomputation process

Facilities may also provide quarterly reports from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services listing long-stay rating points for the quarter as supporting documentation
