School districts (excluding Chicago) must notify the nearest military recruiter at least 5 days before any career-related event, or provide a calendar of all events at the beginning of the school year

Military recruiters who give at least 2 days' notice must be provided a prominent location at career-related events held on school grounds

Schools must display military career advertisements in the counselor's office or main office when submitted by recruiters

Non-compliant schools may be reported to the regional office of education, which must then file a notice to remedy with the school or district
