Amends the Sustainable Agriculture Act to require the Illinois Department of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Agency to conduct a joint study on soil carbon sequestration potential in the state

Study must evaluate how much carbon could be stored through widespread adoption of soil carbon sequestration practices and identify which soil management practices promote carbon storage

Study must consider how climate change-driven changes in seasonality and weather patterns may impact the effectiveness of soil carbon sequestration

Agencies may consult with other state agencies and federal agencies to assist with the study

Joint study must be published on a public website by January 1, 2028, with copies delivered to the Governor and General Assembly members
