Creates the Task Force on Federal Impact to Illinois Veterans within the Department of Veterans Affairs to gather feedback from veterans on existing programming, resources, housing, and healthcare

Directs the Task Force to analyze staffing and funding changes at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and assess impacts of federal funding cuts from the Department of Government Efficiency and One Big Beautiful Bill Act on over 500,000 Illinois veterans

Requires assessment of ways Illinois can assist veterans losing jobs at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and those affected by cuts to SNAP, Medicaid, and federal tax credits

Establishes a 12-member Task Force including the Director of Veterans Affairs, legislative committee chairs, 3 veterans organization representatives, and 6 geographically diverse veterans serving without compensation

Task Force must report findings to the Governor and General Assembly by December 15, 2027, and dissolves on January 31, 2028
