Creates a voluntary "Safe Sports School Seal" program that the Illinois High School Association and State Board of Education may develop for public and nonpublic schools and higher education institutions

Requires schools seeking the seal to include concussion awareness in parent and student handbooks and provide annual coach and staff training on chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and concussions

Mandates that eligible schools maintain return-to-learn and return-to-play protocols for students diagnosed with concussions

Requires participating schools to host at least one community awareness event annually on CTE and concussions

Effective July 1, 2026, with the Illinois High School Association administering the application process and awarding the seal
