Amends the Industrial Hemp Act and Cannabis Control Act to align Illinois law with federal changes from the Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026 (Public Law 119-37)

Updates definitions of "hemp," "industrial hemp," and "THC" to reference federal law at 7 U.S.C. 1639o rather than maintaining separate state definitions

Adds a new definition for "hemp-derived cannabinoid product" consistent with federal terminology

Requires the Department of Agriculture to adopt rules consistent with federal hemp law changes within 12 months of the bill's effective date

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
