Creates the Liability Insurance for Day Care Providers Act requiring the Department of Insurance and Department of Early Childhood to conduct a survey on liability insurance accessibility for day care providers

Survey must assess availability, affordability, and financial impact of rising premiums, with 80% of providers reporting increased costs between $2,000 and over $10,000 annually

Study will examine barriers to obtaining required liability insurance for licensing, reasons for premium increases, and types of coverage available in Illinois and other states

Finalized report must be submitted to the General Assembly, Governor, and community partners within one year of the Act's effective date

Act takes effect immediately upon becoming law and automatically repeals on January 1, 2028
