Prohibits health insurance policies from imposing deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, or other cost-sharing requirements for examination, testing, and treatment of victims of sexual assault and related criminal offenses

Applies to both individual and group accident and health insurance policies that cover hospital or medical expenses in Illinois

Includes an exception for high-deductible health plans to maintain eligibility for health savings accounts under IRS Section 223

Amends Sections 356e and 367 of the Illinois Insurance Code (215 ILCS 5)

Effective January 1, 2027
