IL SB4013

Requires owners of assisted living facilities, MC/DD facilities, and ID/DD community care facilities to notify the Office of the State Long Term Care Ombudsman when closing an establishment or facility.

Adds the Ombudsman to the existing list of parties that must receive 90 days' notice before voluntary closure, which already includes the Department, affected residents, residents' representatives, and family members.

Amends three Illinois statutes: the Assisted Living and Shared Housing Act (210 ILCS 9/100), the MC/DD Act (210 ILCS 46/3-423), and the ID/DD Community Care Act (210 ILCS 47/3-423).
