Amends Illinois School Code to allow high school students to earn 2 years of required foreign language credit through alternative pathways starting with the 2028-2029 school year

Students can satisfy the foreign language graduation requirement by passing a standardized language proficiency test at the State Seal of Biliteracy level for a language other than English

Students may also earn the 2-year foreign language credit by presenting an official transcript showing completion of 2 years of high-school equivalency coursework taught in a language other than English

Applies to the existing requirement that 9th graders beginning in 2028-2029 must complete 2 years of foreign language to receive a high school diploma
