IL SB4056

Amends the Assisted Living and Shared Housing Act (210 ILCS 9/75) to add new requirements for terminally ill residents receiving hospice care in assisted living facilities.

Requires assisted living establishments to provide a licensed health care professional available on-site 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for terminally ill residents who receive or qualify for hospice care.

The on-site professional must be available to meet the medical, nursing, and mental and psychosocial care needs of hospice-eligible residents.
