Appropriates $1.385 billion total for the Illinois Department of Public Health for fiscal year 2027 (beginning July 1, 2026), comprising $286.3 million in General Funds, $364.9 million in Other State Funds, and $733.9 million in Federal Funds.

Allocates $138.7 million from General Revenue for core department operations including $95 million for personal services, $7.3 million for Social Security contributions, and $36.4 million for operational expenses.

Dedicates $12 million for data system modernization and critical IT replacement, $8.5 million for emerging public health threat response, and $3.5 million for public health communications.

Funds health promotion programs including $2 million each for Alzheimer's disease research and community health workers, $9.5 million for the medical cannabis program, and $5 million for state tobacco control.

Provides grants for specific health initiatives including $1.5 million for multiple sclerosis research, $1 million for sickle cell disease, $5.1 million for the American Lung Association Quitline, and various maternal/child health and cancer screening programs.
