Congratulates Carol Vaughan Kissane on being named a 2025 Illinois Library Luminary by the Illinois Library Association (ILA)

Recognizes her ILA membership since December 1990, during which she served on the Advocacy Committee, as president and secretary of the Library Trustee Forum, and was named 2012 ILA Trustee of the Year

Honors her 44-year tenure (1981-2025) as trustee of the Linda Sokol Francis Brookfield Library, during which she missed only four board meetings

Credits her with creating the Taste of Brookfield fundraiser, which the library held annually from 2006 to 2017

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Carol Vaughan Kissane
