Senate resolution mourning the death of Lloyd Benjamin Mills of Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on May 22, 2025 at age 95

Honors his 20 years of U.S. Navy service, where he achieved the rank of chief petty officer, served in the Korean War, and participated in Operation Deep Freeze in Antarctica

Recognizes his post-military career as maintenance supervisor at Holiday Inn in Macomb and second shift supervisor at Western Illinois University Physical Plant until his 1999 retirement

Extends condolences to his surviving family, including two daughters, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Mills family as an expression of sympathy
