Illinois Senate memorial resolution honoring James L. "Jim" Widger of Macomb (formerly of Canton), who passed away on June 7, 2025, at age 92

Widger was born March 27, 1933 in Fairview and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict

Career included working as a cowboy wrangling cattle on Fulton County ranches, founding Widger and Sons Roofing, serving as foreman at International Harvester Company, and managing Midwest Horse Spa harness horse training facility

Survived by numerous children, siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren

Resolution directs that a copy be presented to the Widger family as an expression of sympathy from the Illinois Senate
