Mourns the passing of Dr. Stuart Allen Yaffe of Springfield, who died on June 11, 2025 at age 97

Honors Dr. Yaffe's service in the U.S. Army during World War II and his medical career spanning decades, including work as a family practice physician at Springfield Clinic until retiring at age 89

Recognizes his role as president of the Sangamon County Medical Society when smoking was banned in St. John's and Memorial Hospitals in 1989

Notes his accomplishments as an avid runner who completed 38 marathons after taking up the hobby at age 40
