Mourns the passing of Sergeant Hollis Weller of the Joliet Police Department, who died on May 16, 2025

Sergeant Weller served 20 years with the Joliet Police Department, joining on May 2, 2005, and was promoted to sergeant in July 2020

Received numerous awards including the Award for Heroism in 2015, and most recently worked in the department's Traffic Unit

Extends condolences to his surviving wife, three children, family, and friends

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Sergeant Weller's family
