Memorial resolution honoring Earl E. "Skip" Rueter Jr. of Quincy, who passed away on August 22, 2025 at age 84

Served in the United States Army as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky

Worked at Prairie Farms Dairy for 38 years, starting on the loading dock and retiring as plant manager

Past president of the Exchange Club of Quincy (now Quincy Service Club), helped bring the Gus Macker basketball tournament to Quincy in 1991, and created SKIPPYVILLE; named Exchangite of the Year in 1995 and awarded lifetime membership in 2011

Survived by his wife of 63 years, Barby, two children, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren
