Raised six children in River Forest with husband John L. Roach and was actively involved in St. Luke's Church, organizing fundraisers including a house walk benefiting St. Luke's School

Participated in bowling leagues, golf, and competitive bridge tournaments into her early 90s, and was known for creating historical journals with facts and trivia

Extends condolences to surviving family members including four children, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the family
