Born August 7, 1942 in Mason County; graduated from Easton High School in 1961; served in the U.S. Army from April 1964 to April 1966

Worked as plant manager for CFS and later F/S in Easton; farmed in the Easton area from 1976 until retiring in 2008

Survived by his wife Susan, sons James and Michael, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two sisters

Illinois Senate extends condolences to the family and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to them
