Recognizes the Council of State Governments (CSG) on the occasion of its 2025 National Conference being held in Chicago from December 9-13, 2025

CSG established its first office in Chicago 87 years ago, making the 2025 conference a return to its birthplace

CSG is the nation's only nonpartisan, nonprofit organization serving all three branches of state government, operating through four regional offices including CSG Midwest in Lombard, Illinois

Two Illinois governors have served as CSG national president, and five Illinois legislators have served as national chair since 1938, including the current national chair

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to CSG as an expression of esteem and respect
