Memorial resolution honoring Dan Jeffrey Ryan of Carlinville, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at age 70

Born April 1, 1955 in Carlinville; graduated from Carlinville High School in 1973 and attended Lakeland Junior College and Eastern Illinois University, where he worked as a page at the Illinois State Capitol

Worked for the City of Chicago's Department of Streets and Sanitation before acquiring Ryan's Pub in Carlinville in 1987, becoming active in community organizations including Elks Lodge #1412

Later worked for the Illinois Secretary of State until illness in 2019; was a member of Ss. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church and the Carlinville Country Club

Survived by sons Jordan and Joshua Ryan, granddaughter Brenna Ryan, and siblings Patrick Ryan, Michael Ryan, and Peggy Egizii
