Illinois Senate memorial resolution honoring Joy Erlichman Miller of Nokomis, Florida, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at age 75

Licensed clinical professional counselor and certified master addictions counselor for nearly 50 years, founding Joy Miller & Associates and later Resiliency Productions, which hosted annual Resiliency and Happiness conferences

Created the Peoria Holocaust Memorial and chaired the Button Project, collecting 11 million buttons to honor the 11 million Holocaust victims; her Ph.D. research focused on coping strategies of female Holocaust survivors

Authored eight books on relationships, women's issues, and Holocaust studies, and hosted a weekly mental health television segment for 25 years on WMBD and WEEK-TV

Survived by her husband of 45 years, John; son Josh Miller; daughter-in-law Kelly Miller; and two grandchildren
