Amends definition of "poultry" to apply to IC 15-17-3 and IC 15-17-5, defining poultry as any domesticated bird, whether live or dead, effective January 1, 2011

Expands the State Board of Animal Health's duties to include assisting organizations representing livestock and poultry producers with issues and programs related to animal care

Authorizes the board to adopt rules establishing standards governing the care of livestock and poultry, effective January 1, 2011

Requires the board to consider health and husbandry, generally accepted farm management and veterinary practices, and economic impacts on farmers, industry sectors, and consumers when adopting care standards
