IN HB1334

Requires all fees and funds from administration of the Indiana Securities Act (IC 23-19) to be deposited into the home ownership education account instead of the securities division enforcement account

Abolishes the securities division enforcement account, which previously received civil penalties, investigation costs, and grants/donations related to securities enforcement

Redirects civil penalties from violations of auto dealer licensing, franchise registration, loan broker regulation, business opportunity sales, and auctioneer licensing laws to the home ownership education account

Effective date of July 1, 2010, with conforming amendments across multiple Indiana Code sections (IC 5-20-1-27, IC 9-23-6-4, IC 23-2, IC 23-19, IC 25-11-1-15)

Home ownership education account supports home ownership education programs and mortgage foreclosure counseling and education programs administered by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority
