Congratulates Whitko High School art students from South Whitley who participated in the 40th World School Children's Art Exhibition in Taipei, Republic of China.

Recognizes that Whitko represented one of only ten schools from the United States at the exhibition and students won two of three silver medals earned by the U.S.

Notes six Whitko students (Sarah Craft, Trapper Mize, Gabrielle Goodman, Audra Day, Kelly Kimberlin, and Kate Hippensteel) received medals out of 24 total medals won by the United States.

Honors art teacher Walter C. Malicki and acknowledges that Whitko High School art students have collectively earned 35 national and 133 international awards.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the school principal, art teacher, and participating students.
