SB 92 Summary

• Allows licensed land surveyors to enter any land or property within Indiana to conduct surveys, including entry upon, over, or under the land.

• Requires surveyors to notify the property occupant of their entry in advance using any method that provides proof of notification.

• Requires surveyors to present written identification to the occupant before entering the property.

• Makes surveyors liable for any damage to land or property resulting from their entry.

• Effective July 1, 2010.
