Senate Bill No. 157 Summary

• Amends Indiana Code IC 27-7-5.1 to establish uniform motor vehicle insurance coverage requirements effective July 1, 2010
• Requires motor vehicle insurance policies to provide the same amount of coverage for all operators of an insured vehicle, regardless of who is operating it
• Applies to policies issued, amended, or renewed after June 30, 2010
• Policies violating the uniform coverage requirement are deemed to comply with the requirement
