Requires children under 16 years of age to have written parental or guardian consent to travel by public transport to a non-adjacent county in Indiana

Parent or guardian must be physically present when the ticket is purchased or when travel begins to provide written permission

Public transport operators must preserve the written permission documents for at least one year

Grants parents and guardians the right to inspect travel records maintained by public transport operators relating to their child's travel for up to one year after the travel ends

Violations by public transport owners or operators constitute a Class B infraction; law applies only to travel originating in Indiana and does not apply to travel within one county or between adjacent counties
