• Amends IC 32-31-1-3 to establish special termination rules for year-to-year agricultural tenancies on real property used for crop production.

• Agricultural tenancies terminate on March 1 if either the landlord or tenant provides written notice of termination before October 1 of the preceding year.

• Standard year-to-year tenancies remain subject to the existing three-month notice requirement for termination.

• Allows landlords and tenants to override the March 1 termination date through written contract agreement.

• Effective July 1, 2010.
