Expands the Indiana Board of Animal Health's duties to include providing assistance to organizations representing poultry producers (previously only livestock producers)

Authorizes the board to adopt rules establishing standards governing the care of livestock and poultry

Requires the board to consider health and husbandry of animals, generally accepted farm management practices, and veterinary standards when developing care standards

Mandates consideration of economic impact on livestock and poultry farmers, the farming sector, and consumers when establishing care standards

Effective date of July 1, 2010
