Senate Bill 371 Summary

• Transfers administration of federal and state homeland security fund applications and disbursements from the executive director of the state department of homeland security to the superintendent of the Indiana state police, effective after June 30, 2010.

• Amends IC 10-11-2-32 to add new authority for the superintendent to administer homeland security money for all Indiana state and local governments.

• Modifies IC 10-19-3-3 to limit the executive director's homeland security fund administration duties to the period before June 30, 2010.

• Becomes effective upon passage.
