Senate Bill 410 - Summary

• Designates sections of U.S. 20, State Road 13, State Road 120, State Road 5, and State Road 327 as extra heavy duty highways, forming a route from the Michigan state line through northern Indiana.

• Removes weight restriction on State Road 3 and State Road 9 previously designated as extra heavy duty highways, allowing vehicles with special weight permits to operate at the standard 90,000 pound gross weight limit instead of a lower restriction.

• Amends Indiana Code 9-20-5-4 to expand the list of extra heavy duty highway routes in the state.

• Effective July 1, 2010.
